Shipping/Receiving Associate

Vicarious Surgical is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Associate  to join our team in Waltham, MA. We are seeking a hands-on individual to help scale our material control and shipping/receiving functions.

Vicarious Surgical is a next generation robotics company developing a disruptive technology with the goal of increasing the efficiency of surgical procedure, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities

•  Receive inbound product from parcel and freight carriers
• Review packing lists for accuracy and receive into our ERP system as required
• Deliver packages to the appropriate locations within our campus once received
• Work closely with procurement to resolve discrepant or damaged deliveries
• Ensure a clean and organized loading dock and receiving area
• Support the movement of materials from controlled inventory as needed
• Accurately process outbound shipments
• Ensures adherence Standard Operating Procedures required to meet Vicarious Surgical’s quality compliance for product and practices

About You

• 3+ years previous experience in a shipping/receiving or inventory management function, preferably in a regulated medical device environment
• Strong communication, continuous improvement, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Previous EFP/MRP experience, preferably NetSuite and Coupa is helpful, but not required
