Job Description
Our Associate Partners are key leaders who drive the success and shape of our firm and play an integral role in revenue generation, account management & client delivery, culture, and governance reporting directly to the SiaXperience Business Line Partner. Utilizing your proven track record of sales & business development, you will drive personal revenue goals through exceptional delivery.
You will leverage your industry-specific relationships in the financial services, legal, and technology industries to create relationships with C-Suite and senior executives to understand their organizational needs and recommend value-added solutions such as design thinking, brand strategy, ESG, and strategic consulting. As an ever-evolving firm, we understand the impact of AI on creative and design processes as well.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Revenue GenerationÂ
- Act in a leading sales role and intellectual property development, including seeking out and securing new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships
- Overall responsibility for account success covering all aspects of client engagement(s)Â
- Oversee key accounts and client relationships
- Lead business development efforts and prospecting conversations, representing Sia’s value proposition in relevant contextsÂ
- Leverage existing network and foster new relationships to originate new sales for the firmÂ
- Establish oneself as a client partner across multiple levels of seniorityÂ
- Create exciting and additive intellectual capital through thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and PR opportunities
- Be able to successfully manage a minimum of $3M in revenue and originate $1.5M of new revenueÂ
Account Ownership & Client DeliveryÂ
- Act as day-to-day leadership for client projects and aspects of client relationships and commercial processes within those relationships
- Be actively involved in go-to-market strategies and market-facing initiatives to drive growth and revenue
- Manage team resources to ensure delivery is provided on timeÂ
- Apply strategic and critical thinking to develop recommendations that address client challengesÂ
- Lead and manage complex programs and firm building activities
- Lead and own at least one key accountÂ
Governance
- Integral member of SiaXperience leadership
- Provide long-term guidance and advice to junior staff membersÂ
- Provide recommendations for the direction of SiaXperienceÂ
- Be an active member of firmwide initiatives and activities that cultivate the firm on a broader level
- Work collaboratively with firm support staff to accomplish the goals of the practice
- Be a key interviewer and active participant in recruitment activities for the firm
Qualifications
- Experience leading a creative agency strongly preferred
- Minimum of 15 years creative agency experience with 5 or more years of business development / sales origination experience
- Growth focused sales professional with proven track record of exceeding personal revenue goals through exceptional client deliveryÂ
- Desire to build an opportunity with an organization that fosters their entrepreneurial spiritÂ
- Proven, repeatable track record of originating sales pursuits and closing sales, creating solutions to complex business programs, operational excellence, and strong understanding of consultative sales approach
- Drive profitability and position for continued growth and expansion
- Ability to drive relationships within C-Suite and other senior executives to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business
- Industry specific relationships in Financial Services, Legal, Technology requiredÂ
- Strong experience working with Enterprise and Upper mid-market clients across specified verticals requiredÂ
- Depth in design thinking, brand strategy, ESG, and strategic consulting strongly preferredÂ
- An understanding of AI and its impact on creative, design, and ways of working preferredÂ
- Currently based in New York City and eligible to work in the United StatesÂ
- Bachelor’s degree required in business or related field, advanced degrees welcome
- Able to travel up to 30%Â
Additional Information
Compensation & BenefitsÂ
- New York base compensation for this opportunity ranges between $200,000 and $250,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and market locationÂ
