Job Description

About the Role:

Cyient Inc. has an immediate opening for a Signaling System Engineer to work with our Plant Engineering team in the Pittsburgh, PA area. You should have 4+ years of experience designing and developing signaling software systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Railway Signaling System.

This is an onsite position in Pittsburg, PA. All candidates must be able to report to the location daily.

You Will:

• Design and develop signaling software systems: The engineer designs, develops, and tests signaling software systems that meet safety and operational requirements
• Analyzing the railway network, designing the signaling logic, and selecting the appropriate software technology.
• Test and commission software systems: The engineer tests and commissions the signaling software systems to ensure that they are functioning as designed. This involves performing tests and inspections, conducting simulations, and troubleshooting issues
• Maintaining and upgrading the signaling software systems to ensure that they continue to meet safety and operational requirements. This involves conducting regular inspections, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing upgrades and modifications.
• Ensures that the signaling software systems comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as the Railway Safety Regulations, Railway Signaling Standards, and Railway Operational Standards.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation related to the signaling software systems, such as requirements, design documents, test plans, and user manual

You'll Need:

• 4+ years of experience designing and developing signaling software systems
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen during hiring process.
• Open to US Citizens, Green Card & EAD holders. Work Sponsorship not available.
