Silicon Validation Software Engineer: RDU IP Validation and Integration

SambaNova Systems is looking for a Silicon Validation Software Engineer who will be working closely with the silicon IP and software application team in validating functional behavior, exercising interactions between different IP blocks in the SoC, and assessing performance in large scale systems. 

Specific Responsibilities:

• Write unit test to create high bandwidth traffic on RDU SoC
• Develop system-level stressor for multi RDUs test through IO and memory subsystems
• Develop best practice guidelines for performance tuning
• Debug SoC software and hardware issues and perform system-level validation

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of operating systems and computer architecture
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Proficient in Python
• Experienced with memory hierarchies and IO subsystems.
• Experienced with SoC system-level validation and hardware/software debug 
• Experienced with Linux kernel and driver
• Understanding DDR, PCIE, and Ethernet is a plus
