Simulator Program Strategist
Job Description
About the Role: We are looking for a Simulator Program Strategist to join our Sales Education team in the Medical Products Division. In this role, we are seeking someone who is passionate about product education and demonstrates a deep commitment to teamwork, result-driven outcomes and driving impact to our customer, business and patients.
This is a hybrid position, and would ideally be in Phoenix, Arizona but Flagstaff, Arizona would be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Key liaison within Medical Products Division who partners with and collaborates closely cross functionally to gather feedback, align on improvements, and set the business strategy for the simulator program
- Ideate, plan, evaluate and execute strategic simulation program initiatives aligned to short-term, and long-term Sales and Marketing vision, strategy and revenue goals
- Develop ongoing mechanism to ensure stakeholder alignment, investigate challenges in program operation, and create new mechanisms to drive greater partnerships as related to the simulator program
- Analyze current state, to make recommendations regarding gaps, process improvement, prioritization, and software development
- Leverage internal and external resources to create, evaluate and oversee collection of metrics to be used in strategic decision making and annual planning
- Manage multiple supplier relationships and be primary point of contact responsible for overall program management
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years developing and executing on broad functional strategy
- Minimum 5 years experience leading projects, programs and/or cross-functional teams
- Strong ability to connect people, process and technology within programs and create a cohesive plan
- Proven aptitude in influence management, change management, strategic thinking, and problem solving
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Excellent organization and execution skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical teams, as well with other cultures and geographies
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a matrix organization
- Ability and willingness to travel 20%
Desired Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of the medical device industry
- Previous experience working in a medical simulator program
- Relevant and working knowledge of educational and learning practices
Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates in the continental United States (US) and Canada, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore's remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
