This position is the linkage between the Global Operations & Systems Supply Planners that support the associated SBU bringing closer alignment to the SIOP Process. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and aligning demand for assigned businesses and or channels ensuring that forecasts are visible, planned and delivering customer satisfaction. The SIOP specialist will work with associated Supply Planner and the manufacturing plants and procurement to improve On-Time delivery, inventory and working capital year.
This individual can work at any Collins Aerospace location or remote.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the communication of supply and demand plans and changes between internal customers and supplying plants
- Coordinate with customer on agreed rate to satisfy demand from supply plants
- Work with SBU and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy
- Develop and analyze scenarios where supply and/or demand changes may affect the supplying plant's ability to meet SBU demand
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Update SBU about product availability
- Address demand related queries and issues in a timely manner
- Attend monthly demand and supply reviews with all customers as required
- Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during constrained supply working directly with Supply Planners
- Identify areas of improvements and recommend action plans
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
- 2+ years experience with SAP, either with the ERP system, APO, and/or Business Intelligence
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, operations, or other related degree
- Experience in demand management, operations planning/scheduling, or SIOP related functional area
- Experience participating in the SIOP process for a large (Fortune 500) global industrial manufacturer
- APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP)
- Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response
