General Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of facility reporting at GP and EBIT level and generating clear understanding of product profitability in support of the finance business partners.
- Accountable for month-end closing as well as financial performance & risk reporting.
Specific Responsibilities
- Work with the general manager of the sites to ensure all revenue and costs are transacted in the finance system.
- Translate operationally performed activities to financial figures.
- Be responsible for Month-end reporting; review and propose any adjustment needed to ensure accurate job costing and monthly result.
- Provide full customer and profit transparency to the Financial Business Partners, General Manager and Product Managers.
- Conduct and be responsible for internal audit processes, ensuring compliance to defined best practice and maintain our operational procedures.
- Provide weekly update on volume reporting for the site.
- Coordinate forecasting and budgeting activities between sites and central functions.
- Provide forward looking and independently initiated analysis on margins, trends and productivity.
- Continuously review and improve the efficiency of finance processes.
Key technical skills for the role
- Data mining/ analysis
- MS Office, specifically advanced in Excel
- Advanced knowledge of SAP/FACT or S4 HANA preferably including business warehouse or business intelligence as a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a plus
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree with a relation to business administration and/or a finance major
- 2+ years working in a financial reporting role
- Very good communication skills verbal and written in English & German
- Contract Logistics / warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience with financial processes and practices
