Site IS Manager

Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee all Information System (IS) activities at the East London Manufacturing site including, but not limited to:
- Ensure compliance of standardized IS solutions across sites
- Installation of new workstations
- Deployment & Maintenance of applications
- Management of IT Infrastructure (Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, Network...)
- Provide Technical Support to End-Users in collaboration with the Regional IS Team
• Monitor all ongoing projects handled by the regional IS team and ensure they are successfully implemented at the site level
• Contribute towards improving the IS services delivered to the business by collaborating with the regional IS team
• Ensures the security measures related to information systems are applied within his/her perimeter
• Participates in annual budget reviews related to the domain he/she manages
• Identifies training needs for the region's IS staff and develop plans to address them
• Raises awareness among the staff regarding the importance of using computers, software and other office equipment in a safe manner
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Project Management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills
• Proven experience in managing a helpdesk
• Experience in managing small teams
• Understands regulatory requirements as it relates to managing data
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads
