Job Summary:

A management position with a broad scope of work and responsibility. Based in Kuwait, the successful candidate will supervise and help grow the CLS team to implement the new Kuwait Air Force F18 P5CTS Ops and Maintenance Program. The successful candidate will work at the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base and report to the Program Manager based Qatar.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the F18 P5CTS O&M Program CLS staff.
• Supervise, train and run the ACMI maintenance facility and personnel on a day to day basis and plan resources in line with company and customer operational needs. 
• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned electronic equipment.
• Consult with company engineering personnel to determine solutions to unusual problems in system operations and maintenance.
• Assist the CLS staff on all customer training exercises.
• Perform technical and semi-technical tasks not always electronic in nature.
• Operate and maintain the Display and Debrief Subsystems (DDS) when needed.
• Perform diagnostic routines that are programmed to include the DDS graphics computer, its peripherals and interfaces.
• Enter mission data and load media (DRD, DTD, tapes etc) for mission recording.
• Provide assistance as needed to Customer conduct of live missions and debriefs.
• Provide assistance to field engineers in setting up, installing and initiating the operations and servicing at field sites.
• Comply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures. In particular comply with the code of conduct, quality, security and occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.

Minimum Job Requirements:
 

Skills knowledge and experience:

Essential:

• Technical background in a similar role with experience of managing a team.
• Basic IT skills using Microsoft Office and testing software.
• Ability to perform OJT-instruction as required.
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to use electronic tools and test equipment.
• Position requires the ability to lift 75lbs. Will entail bending, reaching and fitting into tight places to perform normal duties.

Desirable:

• Prior military experience and leadership training would be beneficial.
• Prior experience working in a repair environment.

Education and qualifications

Essential:

• Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent military experience, plus proven relevant experience in an electronics-related industry.
• Must possess a driving license.

Desirable:

• Management training.
