Chemours is seeking a Site Quality Specialist to join our TSS team! This position will report directly to the Quality Manager at our Ingleside, TX location.
The Site Quality Specialist is responsible for upholding and improving the site Quality Management System and QMS certifications including ISO 9001 & IATF 16949. This involves managing internal and external quality investigations, and uploading, tracking, and verifying corrective actions associated. The specialist will also facilitate customer and supplier visits and audits, oversee the site's internal audit program, ensure that FMEA’s and Control Plans are kept up to date, and support data system operations. They will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely updates in Customer Portals.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensure that site is meeting requirements of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Standards including Customer Specific Requirements. Update and manage site utilized core tools including FMEA’s and Control Plans as applicable. Prepare and conduct Quality Management Review on Quarterly basis.

Ensure consistent measurement and reporting of site quality performance, maintaining alignment with organizational standards and objectives.

Manage quality incident investigations, including off-spec situations and customer complaints. Ensure effective and timely communication and resolution, including the implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.

Facilitate and lead in-house customer and supplier visits and audits to uphold quality standards and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Provide support for data systems such as SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance, ensuring their optimal operation and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Own the planning and execution of the site internal audit program. Assist with document control system management to ensure compliance and accuracy of documentation. Be primary Lead Auditor for site which involves training incoming internal auditors and performing internal quality audits.

Respond to and facilitate customer requests through their portals, updating information as needed to ensure continuous communication and compliance with customer requirements.
The following is required for this role:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Chemistry, or Engineering.

Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Familiarity with quality systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and experience with internal audit programs.

Proficiency in data management systems such as SAP, LIMS, and ETQ Reliance.
The following is preferred for this role:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead investigations and implement systemic solutions.

· Excellent communication skills, capable of coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

· Experience in managing specifications and working with customer portals is highly desirable.
