CGI is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer works within the Production support and Performance Management practice to drive excellence and innovation to support operational delivery priorities. SRE works closely with the support team and ensures critical internal and external application services maintain reliability and uptime appropriate to client's needs while keeping an ever-watchful eye on identifying the improvement opportunities and operational gaps. This role includes the SOP documentation, identifying opportunities for automation, writing scripts and building self-service tools for user groups, working with offshore teams, understanding complex systems and technologies, understanding AIOps, Automating systems, procedures and processes as possible etc.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

o Monitoring distribution systems and notifying on any potential issues.
o Building proprietary tools from the scratch to mitigate weaknesses in incident management or software delivery.
o Understanding production code changes to alerting and monitoring adjustments
o Managing and tracking incidents such as outages.
o Facilitating analysis meetings to discuss incidents.
o Identify the automation opportunities for automation specialists to review and execute.
o Watching over in-scope and related systems to ensure reliability for customers.
o Ensuring process follow ups and coordination until the event completion.

• Overall 8+ years of IT experience• 2 to 3 years of business analytics and technical management• Solid understanding of production support activities with client facing experience• Knowledge of system management and support analytic tools• Self-initiative, details-oriented, capable of bringing new ideas to the table • Demonstrated ability to propose the most efficient and cost-effective solutions.• Ability to work with multi geological teams and collect the inputs for analysis.• Good understanding of AI Ops and NLP.• Ability to provide thought leadership for process improvements and documenting the knowledge• An inherent ability to solve problems and provide solutions.• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact and communicate with the client leaderships and technical SMEs
