Site Reliability - DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
iHeartRadio is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer I (SRE) with software engineering principles as well as exposure to operational fundamentals. In this role, you will be embedded into one of our more critically important engineering teams and represent DevOps philosophies to teammates eager to work with you or provide assistance to a core team developing tools for enterprise engineering teams. We share knowledge, responsibilities and value a culture of everyone being able to speak their mind and offer up constructive feedback.

You Have:

• 1 to 6 years of overall SRE/Devops experience
• Experience with Public Cloud Engineering primarily AWS
• Experience in developing DevOps Methodology for complex deployment patterns involving multiple environments and regions
• InDepth knowledge of AWS Services such as EC2, S3, RDS , VPC , DynamoDB, Lambda , API Gateway, Cost Explorer, CloudWatch, iotCore, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, CloudFront
• You have experience in identifying Infosec Risks associated in IAM space
• Excellent Communication skills
• Involved in Infrastructure Design and Scalability Configurations
• Programming & Development experience in TypeScript Or Python & Expert knowledge of YAML Constructs
• Experience with Containerization tools such as Docker, Vagrant , Amazon ECS or Kubernetes
• Experience with Kubernetes Configuration technologies such as Helm, Helm Charts , Code Artifact, ECR etc.
• Experience with one or more Logging & Monitoring tools such as NewRelic, Splunk, ELK & AWS Cloud Watch
• Expert level knowledge of how to support 24X7 on Call support using PagerDuty, ServiceNow and Standard troubleshooting techniques for critical Production applications
• Experience in Performance tuning & Cost Optimization of Enterprise Grade Cloud Assets
• Experience in developing Kubernetes environments that serve as Shared Service Platforms using Multi-Tenant techniques

You Like:

• to develop Developer friendly CI/CD automation stacks using ChatBot Methodologies on Slack or Teams Bot
• to develop Cloud Assets using IaC tools such as CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform etc. to provision & De-Provision Cloud Assets.
• to Guide & Advise Management & Staff Engineers on choosing appropriate technology solutions that are scalable and maintainable.
• to improvise on GitOps processes for driving auditable and repeatable changes to infrastructure
• to research, analyze, develop metrics and operationalize Infrastructure elements to support high traffic sites.

As you develop an understanding of the current iHeart application & infrastructure stacks, you will make decisive contribution in defining the new processes and tooling for iHeartMedia with a futuristic mindset that will stand the test of time.
