Job Description
Complexity: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Supervision: Normally receives instruction from the SRE Manager and/or Architect.
Your role and responsibilities
- Work with engineering teams to create development processes.
- Maintain infrastructure, repair bugs, and respond to downtime.
- Provide support for software engineering teams.
- Participate in product engineering stand-ups and related design activities
We expect you to have
- Knowledge of software development patterns and practices.
- Knowledge of common software development tools and technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud technologies.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DevOps practice and tooling such as Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code pattern using Terraform, Packer, etc.
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell or other scripting language.
- Experience with configuration management - Chef, Ansible, etc.
- Experience with container technologies - Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
- Familiarity with C# or similar high-level programming language.
- Understanding of Microservices Design & Development is a plus.
