As the Site Reliability Engineer on our Platform team, you will be responsible for maintaining the health of our cloud infrastructure, platform, and services. We are actively designing and developing new systems and services. You will provide support by managing, monitoring and maintaining these platforms and services.
In this role, you will partner with engineering leadership, as well as other cross-functional teams (Platform, DevOps, Technology, etc.) to establish best practices, processes, and make recommendations to bolster our engineering support arm.Â

What you'll do:- Monitor our cloud-based Platform infrastructure using observability, tools, and services
- Assist in responding to service-impacting incidents, identifying root causes, and solutioning
- Provide front-line support of our Platform infrastructure
- Drive site reliability engineering best practices
- Establish the processes for communicating & measuring SLO, SLI, and SLAs
- You have 3+ years of general technology experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role (DevOps, Cloud Engineering, etc.)
- 1+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
- You have experience with Cloud-based observability and logging/monitoring solutionsÂ
- You have experience building, maintaining and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure on platforms such as GCP or AWS
- You have run and leveraged Kubernetes for production workloads
- You have experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- You have experience creating runbooks for production software
- You have experience updating and managing secrets using a tool such as Vault
- You are skilled in building distributed systems and microservices using container orchestration tools
- You have the ability to build and support fault-tolerant, scalable infrastructure using AWS cloud services
- You are able to work with a large Multi-Cluster Kubernetes environment
- You can build Terraform modules using DRY principles in a multi-account architecture
- You are skilled at building telemetry platforms to effectively set up SLA, SLO, and SLI’s
- You are able to lead complex retrospectives and investigate root causesÂ
- You can use chaos engineering tools to stress test & ensure system reliability
- Manages Complexity: You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations and uncover root causes to difficult issues. Through acquiring data from multiple and diverse sources, you are able to make sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems.Â
- Drives Results: You persist in accomplishing objectives and exceeding goals despite obstacles and setbacks, while also helping others to achieve results.

Additional Information:
Full-time base salary range of $140,000-170,000 plus a competitive equity & benefits package listed under the "Why work with us?" section.Â
