Site Reliability Engineer

What You’ll Do:

DeepIntent is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (Security) to join our fast growing engineering team. The Site Reliability Engineer (Security) will play a critical role in maturing our information security posture. As well as ensuring compliance with our SOC2 process and client agreements, you will also:

• Provide the Engineering team with tools and systems that allow them to quickly develop, test, deploy, and monitor applications
• Provide engineering support for our internal Kubernetes based platform
• Help ensure that the our infrastructure and systems are secure and up to date
• Maintain high-availability of our bidding system, while ensuring rapid development of individual components
• Maintain our robust monitoring system that allows to understand system’s health, alerting and troubleshooting based on real-time metrics collected from various components
• Ensure we have capacity enough for business to scale and ahead-of-time decisions are made to scale the infrastructure
• Help to migrate system components to infrastructure-as-a-code to ensure we have reproducible way of provisioning resources 

 Who You Are:

• 4+ years working in the technical field
• You have experience working with reliable systems
• You have experience deploying JVM based software (Most of our software is JVM)
• You are experienced with containerization and container orchestration with an emphasis on Kubernetes, Helm, Helmfile, Kops and additional tools
• Experience with monitoring tools (We use Prometheus, Grafana, and  Loki). 
• You have worked with Cloud Platforms (We use AWS and GCP)
• Experience with data center management is a plus, but not required
• You have experience with NoSQL databases and messaging systems (We use Aerospike and Kafka
• You like to solve problems, even if they are outside your normal working domain and are self-motivated and feel comfortable taking the lead on projects
• You have experience working with Infrastructure as Code (We use terraform and ansible)
• You have Scripting/programming experience (We use bash, python, and golang)
• You have experience with SOC2 or similar certification programs
