Shipt is growing and we are searching for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will own the production environment and build tools that improve the observability of our microservice infrastructure. This is a team of highly technical generalists that are obsessed with improving the performance of our applications and making the user experience better for all our internal and external customers.

Your Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and administrate real-time production monitoring, instrumentation and telemetry
- Collect and analyze metrics to drive quality and efficiency
- Fix problems at the root cause
- Pioneer and simplify operational processes
- Work with other software engineers to ensure Shipt systems are meeting reliability and performance standards
Requirements
- 2+ years supporting highly scalable, distributed web services
- Practical experience with a broad range of technologies - databases, version control, networking and cloud infrastructure
- Working experience with software development and reliability best practices
