We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help us build scalable systems that maintain reliability, optimize performance, and improve our development environment. You will be responsible for setting up a modernized infrastructure at Zello, provisioning systems and services, deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers' needs. After your first year, you will- Own observability, alerting, and diagnostic review in all environments
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of Zello’s services.
- Run the production environment by monitoring availability, taking a holistic view of system health, and deploying updates and fixes.
- Provide primary operational engineering support for Zello’s platform and services.
- Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems, databases, and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
- Continuously seek to improve product reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Develop scripts to automate product operation and deployment.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least three years of working experience as a site reliability engineer or a similar job.
- Proficiency in Linux and Jenkins.
- Experience in the software development process and tools and languages like Python, MongoDB, Shell scripting, MySQL, and Git.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, is preferred.
- Problem-solving attitude.
