Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Engineering group and lead our IT operations. You will handle designing, implementing, and managing our IT infrastructure and DevOps policies, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our enterprise systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and Git.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks using SaltStack and Ansible for configuration management and deployment.
- Manage Linux environments such as Ubuntu, RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), Rocky, and SUSE, using IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like Docker, Packer, and Terraform.
- Drive process improvements and DevOps best practices across the enterprise.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in DevOps practices and responsibilities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT resources with business needs.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a solid background in software engineering and system administration.
- Proficient in advanced programming languages such as Python and Golang.
- Ability in Linux system administration and IT infrastructure management.
- Experience in microservices architectures and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to lead and innovate DevOps policies and processes at an enterprise level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working with teams and stakeholders.
