About You:

NinjaTrader is seeking an experienced and talented Site Reliability Engineer who wants to make a difference by pushing the limits of technology. We are building state of the art solutions for online futures trading by challenging ourselves to deliver a creative, intuitive, and scalable user experience to our customers. Successful candidates will be talented technicians and innovative thinkers who are driven to make a difference and help change an industry long held back by yesterday’s technology.
In this role, you will:Â
- Perform application and system performance tuning
- Plan, Deploy, and support new servers and applications and tooling
- Install, configure, optimize, and administer databases
- Able to create simple tooling or automation using one or more programming languages
- Configure, optimize and manage GKE deployment scripts
- Configure, optimize and maintain a variety of Google Cloud services
- Ensure proper monitoring and logging
- Troubleshoot customer’s, Corp office and data center network/hardware problems
- Design and create methods for automating patching and IAM requests
- Ensure that documented security policies and procedures are kept and helps to formulate new procedures
- Train colleagues on best practices and areas of personal expertise
Key Job Requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred but not required
- Expertise with GCP Products, such as: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Logging Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Load Balancing
- GCP Professional Certification preferred
- Proven and strong communication skills
