Site Reliability Engineer

In this role, you will: 

• Perform application and system performance tuning
• Plan, Deploy, and support new servers and applications and tooling
• Install, configure, optimize, and administer databases
• Able to create simple tooling or automation using one or more programming languages
• Configure, optimize and manage GKE deployment scripts
• Configure, optimize and maintain a variety of Google Cloud services
• Ensure proper monitoring and logging
• Troubleshoot customer’s, Corp office and data center network/hardware problems
• Design and create methods for automating patching and IAM requests
• Ensure that documented security policies and procedures are kept and helps to formulate new procedures
• Train colleagues on best practices and areas of personal expertise

Key Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred but not required
• Expertise with GCP Products, such as: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Logging Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Load Balancing
• GCP Professional Certification preferred
• Proven and strong communication skills
