Site Reliability Engineer (Fraud Defender)

The Engineering team at Vonage is a fast growing group of talented engineers. They face multiple challenges associated with high performance, distributed systems, and processing large volumes of data in real time.

We are looking for SRE to help us develop and maintain a best in class fraud prevention platform. 

What you will do

• Create Software and Tooling that improves performance, stability, and reliability of the platform
• Monitor Application Metrics to help with improving software performance
• Build solutions that are highly resilient, scalable, and secure
• Use Terraform to create and manage AWS infrastructure for our platform
• Maintain metrics, dashboards and alerts with Prometheus, Grafana  and ELK to ensure we can respond proactively to any issues which arise
• Manage cloud-native applications which are deployed to Kubernetes using manifests you write through an Argo GitOps flow
• You may also need to write some code in Java or Go but your primary focus will be reliability of our platform

Our expectations:

• 5+ years of experience building and supporting cloud-based applications. AWS would be advantageous.
• Experience working on monitoring, logging and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, ELK)
• Experience maintaining infrastructure as a code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Github Actions and Argo CD.
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of scripting languages like bash or Python
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge about Java or Go
