Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II in San Diego, CA to build and support services and infrastructure with tools, including terraform, ansible, packer, vault, Splunk, datadog, and lightstep. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience designing, building, deploying and operating cloud infrastructure and CICD at scale. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience working with distributed systems and “ilities” of the services to promote uptime, speed and security at all phases of the software lifecycle on a global scale; improving tools (Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS) utilizing container and cluster management domain expertise; automating and configuring management utilizing tools, including Ansible and Chef; working on public cloud services and deployments; performing continuous Integration, continuous delivery and deployment utilizing tools, including Spinnaker, Jenkins, and Bamboo; solving issues in an enterprise, distributed-services ecosystem; and providing secure CICD solutions meeting PCI and SOX requirements. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.Â
