Job Description

eduCLIMBER is an interactive system that integrates all whole child data into a single platform with built-in tools for intervention tracking, collaboration, effectiveness reporting, early warning, driving system-level improvement, and more. 

As an engineer on the eduCLIMBER team, you’ll work on a rapidly growing product that impacts over 3 million students in the US. Our team is highly collaborative and is continuously working to ensure eduCLIMBER is reliable, scalable and robust. Our tech stack includes Javascript (VueJS), PHP, Python, MySQL, AWS and Linux. 

As a SRE III, you will: 

• Work in close collaboration with our engineering team to ensure our application infrastructure is robust, scalable and efficient. 

• Develop and maintain a robust set of automation tooling to allow for consistent and efficient code deployments 

• Develop and maintain observability mechanisms for continuous monitoring of our product performance and stability 

• Participate in an on-call rotation to assist with operational support for our US customers 

• Work in close collaboration with our engineering team to ensure our application infrastructure is robust, scalable and efficient 

Qualifications

For this role as a SRE III, you must have: 

• 4 years of experience hosting applications on AWS 

• 3 years of experience support a mainstream RDBMS (e.g. MySQL) 

• 3 years of experience developing and deploying Docker containers 

• 6 years of experience using and scripting Linux 

• 3 years of experience with a mainstream observability platform (e.g. Datadog) 

• 3 years of experience working with a CI/CD pipeline (e.g. GitHub Actions) 

• 3 years of developing and using IaaS tools (e.g. Terraform) 

• Strong technical documentation and diagramming skills 

Bonus Points:

• Experience working in K-12 EdTech

Salary Range: $75,600 to $136,800 This range is based on national market data and may vary by experience and location.
