We are currently expanding our Campaigns team and we are looking for Site Reliability Engineer. You can work remotely or from one of our local offices. The salary starts at âŹ2,700 based on your experience level.
What challenge awaits you?As the SRE in our Campaigns Engineering team, you will take care of the reliability and maintainability of our product. The Campaigns team is responsible for key features and critical services that empower our clients in personalized marketing automation through various channels - email, SMS/MMS, push notificationsâŚ.Â
Our engineering teams are long-lived and deeply involved in the product life cycle - from research and discovery to maintenance and reliability.Â

You will be a member of the Campaigns team. You will operate on the same services and areas as other team members and focus more on the non-functional requirements of developed features and our servicesâ long-term reliability. Â
Your job will be to:- Maintain and own the long-term reliability of our services
- Working within the team to deliver projects - focus on non-functional requirements
- Participate in L3 support
- Cooperate with the Infrastructure and Support teams
- Cooperate with the team during the whole project life-cycle and ensure the delivered solutionâs reliability and maintainability.
- Help the team to form and deliver non-functional requirements for projects
- Prepare and maintain monitoring and dashboards, which will help us observe the usage, detect over-usage orÂ
- Help the team to adopt the idea of proactive site reliability.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements, and focus on automation to lower the need for manual tasks during scaling, monitoring and maintenance.
- Help the team to define SLIs and SLOs.
- Resolve L3 requests during working hours.
- Participate in on-call rotation, keeping our services up and running - passive on-duty outside working hours.
- Ensure we detect and address possible patterns in L3 requests and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Help the team mitigate and resolve possible production incidents.
- Share best practices and ideas with the Infrastructure team and other SREs (both directions)
- Make sure the engineering team is following the overall SRE strategy.
- Communicate with L1/L2 support teams to identify areas for improvement in tooling and processes to make whole production support more efficient.
- In 30 days, you will get to know the team, the company, and the most important processes. We will help you to get familiar with our infrastructure, release process, tools, and product.
- In 90 days, you can solve various L3 support requests during working hours independently. You will help the team with non-functional requirements on new features.
- In 180 days, you will be able to come up with ideas on how to improve our SRE strategy in a team. You will participate in defining and implementing SLIs and SLOs for our services. You will have enough knowledge of our systems to participate in on-call rotation and keep our services up and running.
- Professional â professional experience in SRE, DevOps areas
- Personal â independence, pro-activity and can-do attitude; and fluency in English
- You have experience with SRE and DevOps, ideally from a cross-functional with cloud-first SaaS product.
- You have development (or operational) experiences with high-throughput systems, ideally in Python and Golang languages.
- Knowledge and experience with GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Kafka, Victoria Metrics, Grafana.
- Familiar with Continuous Testing, Lean, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD principles and tools like Jira and GitLab.
- Ideally, you should be familiar with SLI and SLO.Â
- You can come from Dev or Ops; we are looking for someone who wants to move forward and can continuously learn new technologies and principles.
- Pro-activity during problem-solving and learning new things and principles.
- Can-do attitude - confident and willing to deal with problems or new tasks.
- Independence and self-organization to navigate you through ambiguous situations.
- Fluency in English and good communication skills.
