The Role:

We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that empowers Centene to better serve our members. We are looking for Site Reliability and DevOps experts at all experience levels to work on building platforms, creating efficiencies and cultural transformations through the curation of new systems and capabilities in the application and infrastructure space.

You will help drive teams through root cause analysis, identify opportunities for automation and toil reduction, partner with all infrastructure teams to help them operate with the SRE mindset, participate in high customer impacting incidents and help teams troubleshoot issues and participate in an on-call rotation

Experience troubleshooting in large scale enterprise networks

Utilize your breadth of expertise as an SRE and engage with engineering teams struggling to maintain reliable and performant services

Partner with IT and engineering teams to identify gaps in observability, either missing telemetry or alerting

Develop a roadmap and plan for continuous feedback and delivery initiatives

Build platforms that teams can leverage to accelerate innovation in the areas of reliability, scalability and velocity

Additionally you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience working on virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare), container (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher), cloud (AWS or Azure or OCI, etc.), and/or Snowflake Platform technologies.
• Experience with automation languages such as PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Experience or familiarity with using observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, DataDog, Grafana, Elk preferred.
• Experience with data and no data solutions (RDBMS, No SQL (SQL Server, Hadoop, etc.)
