Site Reliability Engineering – Cloud

We will count on you to:

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure for our .NET platform on AWS and VMWare.
• Develop and automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal reliability and performance of our applications.
• Partner with Cloud Security to implement and enforce security best practices to protect our cloud-based systems and data.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing and site reliability engineering.

What you need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a cloud engineering or site reliability engineering role.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, particularly VMWare.
• Experience with containerization technologies
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and .NET platform.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols

What makes you stand out:

• Experience with providers such as Cloudflare or Akamai.
• Experience working with UNIX.
• Experience with automations / orchestrating tooling such as Jenkins / Octopus.
• Experience working with JIRA / Confluence.
• A good knowledge of storage technologies would be a bonus
