Site Reliability Engineering Manager, Identity and Access Management

What You'll Do
The Identity and Access Management team sits within the centralized TechOps org, whose mission is to accelerate Flatiron's business units and let them move safely and securely.
As the Site Reliability Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3-5 IAM professionals and ensuring the security, accessibility, and efficiency of our organization's digital identities and access management systems. This role requires expertise in various IAM technologies, including Active Directory Users and Groups, Okta SSO, Duo MFA, AWS IAM policies, Secrets Management, and Identity Lifecycle Management.
You will be responsible for:

• Team Leadership and Development:
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the team members.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging professional growth and skill development.
• Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and facilitate training for team members.
• IAM Strategy and Roadmap:
• Develop and execute an IAM strategy that aligns with the organization's security and business objectives.
• Create and maintain a roadmap for IAM initiatives and improvements.
• IAM Technology Management:
• Oversee the operation, configuration, and maintenance of IAM systems, including:
• Active Directory Users and Groups
• Okta Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• AWS IAM
• Secrets Management and Access with Hashicorp Vault
• Identity Lifecycle Management
• Identity Lifecycle Management:
• Manage the complete lifecycle of user identities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
• Implement and maintain automated identity lifecycle processes to enhance efficiency and security.
• Vendor Management:
• Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and technologies that enhance the IAM infrastructure.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IAM processes, policies, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on IAM performance, compliance, and incident response.

Who You Are
You're an experienced technical manager with 5+ years of experience with an emphasis on cloud identity and access management. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent practical experience.
• You have 2+ years of experience in managing an IAM team and implementing IAM strategies.
• You have strong expertise in Active Directory, Okta, Duo, AWS IAM, Vault, and identity lifecycle management.
• You have in-depth knowledge of security standards and regulations.
• You have experience negotiating with nontechnical stakeholders and driving business value with technical solutions.
• You are a strong, transparent communicator.
• You seek simple approaches to complex solutions.

Extra Credit

• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.

Job Compensation Range
Salary Range: $184,800.00 - $255,200.00

Preferred Primary Location: NYC Headquarters
The annual pay range reflected above for this position is based on the preferred primary location of the role which is listed in the job description. Salary ranges for other locations vary from the range reflected above. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual bonus and equity may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
