Location/Division Specific Information

This position is located in Thousand Oaks, CA.

This role is focused on service delivery excellence for Unity Lab Services - a division of Thermo Fisher responsible for providing on-site services at customers locations. We provide services at over 400 customer sites globally! This position directly supports our on-site clients by facilitating Inventory Management services - interacting daily with lab end users, managing stockrooms, delivering consumables, and other services to support Inventory operations.

Job Duties

• Perform inventory management and stockroom duties such as on-site replenishment ordering, disbursements, receiving, stock rotation, cycle counts, detrashing, inventory systems management, and other functions according to service level requirements.
• Perform order reconciliation, order expediting, customer service call resolution, return goods authorization, and processing of backorders.
• May perform a portfolio of other services including: material handling, shipping/receiving, glass-wash & autoclave operations, warehouse operations.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

• Experience in warehouse operations preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Possesses a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel at the customer site.
• Deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance.
• Possess the interpersonal skills to multi-task and meet timelines.
• Ability to shift, push, and lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.77-$25.00.
