Job Duties

  • Managing people and processes needed to ensure optimal performance in the implementation and support of Community Health Network's (CHN's) applications (Clinical/Non-Clinical) including but not limited to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) - Epic, other core clinical, radiological, and procedural, and patient access applications.
  • Ensures the optimal performance of the assigned team including service, quality, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.
  • Manager must be able to mobilize staff resources, establish trusting relationships, manage people effectively, and demonstrate emotional intelligence capabilities.
  • Facilitates effective communication/collaboration across IT, informatics, and CHNw leaders, staff, and operational partners (customers).
  • Collaborates with the operational partners and vendors to ensure management and prioritization of support-related requirements.
  • Provides oversight of customer service activities related to defined IT site support activities. Serves as site support leadership point of contact to designated location/region/product line as required. Rounds regularly with operational partners (customers) as indicated for supporting areas/locations.
Your Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of health care and/or application support experience is required.
  • Two (2) or more years of leadership/management experience are preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or healthcare-related field.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
