Primary Responsibilities

• Supporting GIS needs including Python Script application
• Support site selection and route selection for various types of clients including electrical facilities, gas facilities, and data center facilities
• Support land development design
• Review land development and zoning ordinances

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Planning, Environmental Science, or another related field of study
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience including land development design, planning, and environmental permitting
• Ability to support public meetings
• Must have a strong, demonstrated technical report writing background with familiarity with environmental regulations, laws, and guidelines
• Strong conceptual, organization, problem-solving, and research abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team, with clients, and independently
• Ability to travel anticipated less than 10 percent of the time
• Ability to work outside on uneven terrain under variable weather conditions
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned company

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the utility sector
• Advanced GIS skills
• Python Scripting
• Experience with Environmental) Permitting for linear projects
• Preference will be given to local candidates
