Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required

Work Experiences:

  • At least five years relevant business-related work experience
  • Planning experience in a retail environment is preferred

  • Analytical, collaborative, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills, able to interface effectively with individuals at various levels
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to provide size level insights with the goal of improved sales, profit, and inventory efficiency

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the buying organization in achieving sales, profit and inventory efficiency related objectives through planning, analysis and buying at the Size level.
  • Collaborates with CMT to derive appropriate Size Profiles for each Size Set and to define categories of business that drive distinct size selling.
  • Partners with CMTs to transfer knowledge, improve buys and allocations by size, and manages change.
  • Prepares for and leads size recap and discovery meetings with CMT. A trusted partner, leads and makes recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Works cross-functionally with multiple ASO teams for both improved inventory efficiency and processes.
  • Champions adoption of Size Optimization and all Size Optimization best practices.
  • Manages Size Optimization of PO's.
  • Knowledge of cluster planning and ordering processes facilitating analysis and training of Size Optimization processes.
  • Trains users (Buyers, Planners, and AB's) in both group and individual settings.
  • Develops & maintains user training documentation.
  • Provides solutions to user questions and problems.
  • Ensures consistent, accurate planning and analysis procedures are used creating size projects, providing size profiles and optimizing purchase orders and allocations to size.
  • Provides input concerning system enhancements, processes and implementations relating to Size Optimization planning and analysis.
  • Assists in development of size planning processes, including maintaining documentation and training content.
  • Maintains consistent and advanced knowledge of SO system and upstream processes, including Admin functions.
  • Provides input, develops and tests processes for improved resource efficiency across the organization.
  • Observes industry trends to apply best-in-class practices to Academy.
  • Creates ad hoc reports and analysis.
  • Required to learn company policies, procedures, and safety rules.
  • Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior.
  • Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
