Skilled Carpenter

Phinney Ridge Paintinghas been a Seattle based painting company for over 10 years. We specialize in the restoration and maintenance of residential and historical buildings in our area, and pride ourselves on our skills and abilities that bring them back to their original luster. We are seeking Experienced and Skilled Tradesman to join our team. With us, you will get to experience all aspects of home improvement projects. Ideal applicants enjoy working in teams, learning new practices and have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and pleasant demeanor. Qualifications: · More than 2 years of Residential Carpentry experience · Drivers license & reliable transportation – Preferably a vehicle that can haul lumber and tools. · Ability to lift and work from 75 lb. /40’ ladder. Pay / Benefits: · $25 - $40 Based on skill/experience level · 401K simple IRA plan with a company match · Health Benefits, Medical, Dental and Vision, partially paid by the company · Paid time off · Employee assistance program · Referral program Skill Requirements: · Framing and Structural building and repair · Wood Siding repair and replacement (Lap/Bevel Siding, Cedar Shake, Hardie Siding, Panel) · Rot repair · Weatherproofing (house wrap, vycore, flashing, etc.) · Door & Window Installation · Deck, Fence & Rail Installation · Interior & Exterior Trim repair and replacement · Millwork · Remodeling experience (kitchen, bathroom, finish carpentry) Preferred but not critical: · Cabinetry · Drywall · Tile Responsibilities: · Maintain safe working environment according to all State regulations as well as all Company standards and requirements · Ability to self-manage · Capable of reading and understanding blue-prints and manufacturer specifications · Strong time management skills · Good attendance/Reliable · Professional appearance & people/customer-oriented personality.
