Introduction to the job
As a skills management architect, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a solid skill management foundation across our sectors and thereby contributing to a core enabler of our People strategy. In this role you will analyze the current skill management capability and work with critical stakeholders to understand the desired state for successful skill management. You will connect with all sectors to (potentially) include their skills and competency needs in a common framework and work together towards a common framework and language on skills and competences. Besides working towards a common approach for skills you will also be responsible for identifying the current and future state for our skill management technological solutions. As skills are a central element in the success of the Integrated Talent Management (ITM) Program -one of the key HR Priorities that aims to support the growth of ASML by engaging, developing and retaining employees through offering the best possible employee experience on career development- you will be a key contributor to this program.
Role and responsibilities

Analyze current state of skills capability and drive a common approach for skill management across the sectors and functions.

Manage and support the assessment of organizational needs related to skills management and the processes ASML seeks to apply it to, such as personal & career development, strategic workforce planning, knowledge management & learning.

Identify fit for purpose solutions (current state vs desired state) to enable skills management. Deploy and/or decommission technological solutions as required.

Partner with Business Leaders, L&D Community & HR Business Partners on skill management needs. Drive co-creation (with sectors and functions) of ASML vision, strategy and programs/plans (roadmap) on skills management.

Monitor trends and developments with regards to skills based organizations and bring in best practices to fuel internal discussions and solution/process design.

Conceptualize and design skill based HR and business practices and act as the subject matter expert during functional design, solution build and deployment phases.

Act as the Epic Owner towards the HR ART bringing in skills related epic/features and clarify user stories.

Build communities (in HR and business) to align thinking and initiatives on skills management with ASML and ensure regular updates on status of ongoing projects and upcoming initiatives.

Orchestrate stakeholder and change management and play an active role yourself in ensuring sectors and functions are aligned around skill management ambitions and initiatives on various levels of the organization. Support deployments from a change & communications and business readiness perspective.
Education and experience
-
Previous experience with skills / competences management projects, preferably in multinational environments
-
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Organizational development or other relevant area

5+ yearsβ experience in HR related area (Talent, Learning, etc)

Proven experience to lead strategic projects in a matrix organization
Skills

Good knowledge of skills and competency frameworks and processes and related challenges

Good understanding of technology landscape supporting skills and competencies

Established network with companies / vendors in the field of HR / HRIS to be able to benchmark on best practices

Good communication skills, being able to interact at different levels (from senior management to specialists)

Excellent stakeholder management skills, being able to deal with different demands and expectations
