SKS Marketing Intern

We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join our dynamic team as an Intern on the Home Appliance/SKS Marketing Team!

Meaningful Work with Experiential Learning

LG's 2023 Summer Internship Program will be a 9 week internship from June 5 through August 4, 2023.

The internship will be based in office at the LG North America Innovation Campus in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and pay an hourly rate of $23.50.

The LG Internship Program is built on the philosophy of ensuring that each intern is given the opportunity to perform robust and meaningful work while gaining real-world experience.

The program will also include each intern working on an individual strategic project for the department and delivering a presentation at the program's end.

Responsibilities

• Marketing Coordinator internship responsibilities include NJ showroom support - assisting with the planning & management of brand immersions and cooking demos taking place in NJ showroom, including event planning, logistics, hotel, transportation and travel accomodations as needed;
• providing administrative and accounting support for the marketing team as needed; assisting with the planning of all summer/fall tradeshow needs including BrandSource, Nationwide and NECO;
• communicating with agency partners as needed; providing sales support as needed, including the fulfillment of literature, asset and swag requests; assisting with routine HQ reporting needs and budget updates via PowerPoint decks & Excel spreadsheets.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University
• Rising Junior or Senior in Bachelor's degree program
• Business/Marketing related major is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
• Analytical and well organized
• Thorough understanding of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, expert organizational abilities, extremely comfortable handling administrative and accounting-related tasks, strong use of PowerPoint & Excel, extreme ability to multi-task, high energy and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to do whatever it takes to get the job done!
