Slack Administrator

We're looking for a highly skilled and proactive Slack Administrator to work remotely with our IT Operations team. This role is crucial for managing our Slack Enterprise Grid environment and overseeing a variety of enterprise tools to enhance communication, collaboration, and productivity.
Responsibilities:
What You'll Do:

• Workspace Management - Manage Slack user accounts, create/organize channels for different teams and projects, and set up integrations with other applications used in the company.
• Security & Compliance - Implement security best practices to protect sensitive information and own DLP & PII management.
• Adoption & User Experience - Develop internal documentation for Slack usage and encourage user engagement and adoption of best practices.
• Optimization & Reporting - Analyze usage data, generate reports on user activity/engagement, and recommend ideas for improvement.
• Internal Communication - Create and disseminate IT notifications to various teams within the company.

Requirements
What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience managing Slack workspaces in an Enterprise Grid environment.
• 2+ years managing SaaS applications in a business environment.
• Expertise in Slack functionality, features, administration tools, and API capabilities.
• You've worked with SaaS management platforms, ideally BetterCloud, and Google Workspace products.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a proactive mindset.
• Knowledge of SOC 2 Compliance

Bonus Points:

• You've worked with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) or integration platforms (e.g., Zapier) for automating tasks and workflows.
• Experience with Slack Canvas, Workflow Builder, and developing internal IT/SaaS policies.
• You are familiar with other SaaS management tools (e.g., BetterCloud, Zylo) and ITIL frameworks.
• Experience transitioning users from Zoom to Meets/Huddles and proficiency in Google Administration.
• Experience with API integrations between SaaS applications.

Benefits
The Base Salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
