Slitter (Sheffield)

We are looking for a Slitter to join our Sheffield team.
 

Our slitters are responsible for setting up the slitting machine, running production on the slitter, cleaning of the slitter and all associated maintenance of the slitter. 

Minimum Salary £26,000 per annum, salary depending on experience + pension + 22 days holiday + shift enhancements.
Location Chapeltown, Sheffield

40 hours per week, Shift System Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and run production on the slitter
• Ensure film is consistently slit to the measurements specified
• Observes flow of material throughout 
• Clean and maintain the slitter
• Ensure quality of product at all times
• Meet production deadlines
• Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures
• Support continuous improvement

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Proven experience in production, slitting and printing setting
• Experience in food packaging preferred
