About the Role
FareHarbor is one of the worldâs largest tour operator and activity providers, working with thousands of small businesses across North America. Our clientsâ work ranges from walking tours to shark diving experiences. Our growth demands highly motivated, results driven Small Business Account Executives (SBAEs).Â
As an SBAE on our FareHarbor sales team, you will be an integral part in building our ever-expanding client base. You will use consultative skills to learn each prospective clientâs unique challenges, and provide solutions with a custom plan. After completing the FareHarbor training on our sales approach and company culture, youâll be responsible for contacting prospects, cultivating relationships, and closing deals!
The SBAE role requires a high-volume approach, quick sales cycle, and individuals who are motivated by metrics such as number of calls, weekly closes, and number of clients now âliveâ on the FareHarbor platform.
Our team works hard, and we have fun along the way. We talk shop on our clients' boats on a sunset cruise in the Boston Harbor, learn a new market by exploring a haunted house together, show a conductor how they can streamline their check-in on a train, or teach a brewery how they can maximize revenue in their venue spaces.
What you'll do here:
- Fully manage your own book of business, from cold calling to closing, all the way through implementation
- Build an active relationship with potential clients through phone calls and email
- Schedule and provide engaging online and in-person demos and walkthroughs
- Understand each prospective clientâs reservation challenges, and provide solutions
- Read complex situations and make solid judgement calls
- Be a true team player who is willing to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional results for our clients
Requirements:
- Proactive, motivated, enthusiastic, and comfortable with a fast pace
- Comfortable speaking with people on the phone and in person
- Organized and excellent with time management
- Cool under pressure with the ability to balance and execute many important priorities at once
- Able to handle rejection and stay motivated
- Very comfortable with new technology

Note: As our Sales Team is based in Boston, Denver based candidates will be expected to attend meetings that align with east coast hours.
Compensation: $35,000 base; $60,000 - $80,000 OTE
