Smart Manufacturing Solution Architect, Consumer & Industrial Products Practice

West Monroe has an immediate opportunity to help lead our Consumer and Industrial Products practice.

As a Senior Architect at West Monroe, you will have 3 main responsibilities:

Client Development:

• This role entails significant responsibility in developing new business, managing the client relationship at the executive levels while providing direction and oversight to project teams.  Most importantly, candidates should be passionate about what they do and enjoy a fun, entrepreneurial environment.

Practice Development:

• You will play an active national leadership role in addition to leading the Dallas/Chicago/Minneapolis-based team.   You will be expected to attract, hire and mentor deep technologists and talented business consultants who will help our Consumer and Industrial Product clients re-imagine, build, and transform their business and operations. 

Client Delivery:

• As a leader within our C&IP Practice, you will be expected to provide delivery oversight on large engagements, manage relationships with c-level buyers and create compelling offerings that are relevant and thought-provoking.

Qualifications:

• A technical background in Operations Technology (OT). 
• 8+ years’ experience managing multi-disciplined teams of consultants and technologists OR 10+ years in an operational/technology leadership role in manufacturing
• Deep knowledge of Industry 4.0 and OT architecture in the manufacturing space
• Proven experience delivering multiple projects including connecting manufacturing equipment, measuring OEE, building digital twins, and installing predictive maintenance
• Familiarity with AI/ML, advance process control, additive manufacturing, smart tools, and cyber
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment sensors and PLCs/SCADA
• Familiarity with one or more core manufacturing systems ERP, MRP, MES, CMMS, or QMS
• Experience with identifying and leading selection of Industry 4.0 vendors
• Ability to build and advise clients on Industry 4.0 strategy and tactics
• Ability to identify Industry 4.0 use cases and calculate impact on the P&L
• Strong business development and an active professional network of contacts in the local market
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; and in-depth knowledge of project planning and delivery methodologies; strong communication skills to be able to work with clients and present to C-level executives
• Ability to travel 50-70%
• Ability to coach and train other consultants
• Willingness to build internal collateral and go-to-market as a thought leader (whitepapers, speaking engagements, etc.)
