Position: Snowflake Developer

Infotel India is actively seeking a proficient Snowflake Developer to join our esteemed team. In this capacity, you will play a vital role in leveraging Snowflake's cloud data platform to build and maintain data pipelines, enhance data integration processes, and ultimately ensure high data quality for analytical reporting. This formal role demands a keen understanding of data warehousing principles and an ability to work collaboratively within a team of data professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data pipelines using Snowflake and associated tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data needs and provide insights through thorough analysis.
• Optimize existing ETL processes to ensure efficient performance and scalability.
• Assist in the migration of on-premises data warehouses to the Snowflake platform.
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
• Document all aspects of data workflows and provide clear communication of project statuses to stakeholders.
• Participate actively in code reviews and ensure best practices in data engineering are followed.

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and familiarity with its features and functionalities.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience in data transformation techniques.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
