POSITION DESCRIPTION
Support JLL's Storage + Organization (S+O) team with the development, implementation, and sustaining of Nike's global product storage strategy by training, managing, coaching, and supporting a team of organizational product coordinators and associates to achieve their highest levels of performance. Be the bridge between key stakeholders both inside and outside of S+O. Help drive the continued evolution and expansion of the S+O program at Nike WHQ.
This role is 80% onsite (three days per week minimum) with the option to work remotely up to two days per week, depending on workload and team needs. The role can be very physically active and may require working on one's feet for a minimum of four hours at a time as well as repeatedly lifting items of up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the team:
- Fully align with S+O on our mission and vision, and lead by example to enforce S+O's core values, connection agreements, goals, and adherence to professional standards.
- Know Your Customer - understand the rhythm of the business in terms of Nike's Consumer Code process and large seasonal sample deliveries.
- Coach and support LOPCs/OPCs with tackling key storage challenges and opportunities and developing a holistic storage strategy based on the client's needs.
- Drive adherence to established processes and demonstrate agility and creativity to meet dynamic business needs.
- Ensure teams have the support they need to create and execute organizational strategies and assist client teams.
- Build bridges:
- Establish a trusted advisor/partner relationship with client team leadership and key partner counterparts as a subject-matter expert for storage and organization.
- Serve as the liaison between direct reports, S+O manager, business client leadership, and supporting key partners; raise up opportunities and challenges to S+O's operations as they arise.
- Communicate to the teams we partner with and represent S+O as subject-matter experts on client team calls.
- Report on activities and deliver presentations on team performance to all levels of leadership within S+O and the client business.
- Manage the work:
- Be available to give hands-on assistance and support to S+O team when needed
- Sign off on timecards and team member time off requests.
- Conduct performance reviews and talent assessments with team members as required.
- Drive alignment and improvement:
- Provide quality control for documentation and key metrics to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Be well-versed in and train team members on existing S+O policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Actively participate and engage in S+O's program Shine Time.
- Escalate risks through the S+O organization appropriately.
- Other duties and initiatives as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 1 year with S+O.
- Previous experience as Senior OP Coordinator.
- Comprehensive understanding of Lean/5S.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) as well as Smartsheet.
