PMG is seeking a Social Ad Operations Senior Manager to join our Social Ad Operations team. This is a multifaceted role that will help support new clients, current clients and build our overall team capabilities. In this role, the ideal candidate will be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and have a willingness to think critically on requests and processes, all while maintaining high attention to detail. The Social Ad Operations team supports all PMG clients and traffic media through various ad operations tools. The team actively manages and is responsible for hundreds of campaigns and thousands of placements and creatives every month.

The Social Ad Ops Senior Manager will be responsible for assisting in standing up, leading and managing the Social Ad Ops Global Team. The Social Ad Ops Senior Manager will be seen as a subject matter expert and team leader, driving thought leadership in the Social Ad Ops space. This is a people manager role that manages team priorities, developmental items, and career growth/advancement. This role is also expected to collaborate with the existing Paid Social team in senior-level social platform relationships and partnerships. 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Hire and train new staff and identify team members ready to take on greater responsibilities on the social ad ops team
  • Optimize social trafficking workflows to improve department efficiency
  • Maintain platform certifications and be capable to jumping in to traffic within all social platforms - Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat
  • Hold team members and other department stakeholders accountable for campaign set up details and deliverables within SLA 
  • Lead the social ad ops team practice by holding routine team status meetings to define team goals, vision and tasks
  • Excel in social media platform technical updates, pushing beta product testing and leading those changes within a team and with clients
  • Manage and lead social trafficking team output and oversee all day to day trafficking work
  • Work collaboratively with PMG social leadership on trafficking tasks, planning and best practices and define clear and realistic expectations

Skills & Experiences:

  • 6+ years progressive experience working in digital media and paid social where you were responsible for campaign execution, set up and trafficking
  • 3+ years management experience in digital with responsibility for people leadership, training, career coaching for technical and soft skills
  • Ability to be a strong, hands-on team player with the ability to jump in to support team no matter the task level
  • You are passionate about service, learning and growth - the social media landscape evolves constantly, and you'll need to be forward-thinking to keep the brands we support top of mind for consumers.
