ABOUT THE ROLE
Are your two core values community and connection? Perhaps you are great at reading a room (re: social comments) and knowing exactly how to respond to elevate the vibe?! Did you receive a bronze ribbon for your 6th grade creative writing contest? I mean, you would have taken first, but Mr. Jolly wouldn’t know fun and humor if it hit him in the face. (Apparently, his last name was not so clever)
If you double tapped both, you might be the Community Manger of our Social Media dreams! The ultimate multi-tasker who loves writing, creativity, fun, fostering community and SOCIAL MEDIA!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build relationships with our consumers through on-brand copy and daily conversation
- Lead the development of goodr’s community across various social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Establish relationships with our fans, listen to consumers, and engage in conversation through our owned channels on a daily basis
- Identify opportunities for the brand to engage in wider conversations and engagement trends
- Act as an advocate for community members’ activities, suggestions, and concerns
- Work closely with Social Strategist and Content creator to create an engaging and on-brand calendar
- Collaborate with the Media team on campaign development and execution
- Work effectively with internal cross functional teams including Media, Digital, Creative, and Product to drive 360 campaigns
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
- 3-4+ years experience in social media - agency (or client-side equivalent) as a Community Manager or Copywriter
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Must have a strong comprehension of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to increase engagement through strategic copy
- Working knowledge of Sprout Social is a plus
- Loves everything above
- Asks a lot of questions
- Proven working experience in project management
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge of Asana is a BIG plus
- A self-starter who can rely on their skill in prioritizing and organizing their workflow to coordinate multiple departments
- Mad bonus if you are a GTDer
- Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
- Loves the work more than a paycheck
- Thinks planning and organizing are fun
- Loves to create order out of chaos
- Is happy to give away credit to their team
- Loves getting and giving feedback

NEXT STEPS
