Social Community Manager

As the Social Community Manager, you will be responsible for bringing th e brands in DoubleDown 's library of mobile games to life whether it existing games and growing engagement and following or new games that we are building from the ground up. You should have experience-and great instincts-across research, planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, editorial calendars, copywriting and tactical plans. You will be ensuring that all social media messages, measurement and content are relevant to both the target audience and the departmental objectives. In short, you will be the catalyst that drives our social efforts to become famous for being innovative, creative, and wickedly effective against business goals. Think you have what it takes?

Our Seattle studio is the hub for all things creative - think G ame Designers, Artists, Marketers, and more ! L ocated in Seattle's International District , w e are exploring beyond social casino and focusing on creating multiple, all-new casual and mid-core franchises - expanding to create experiences in fun new worlds, developing characters, stories & gameplay! Your XP , Badges and Skill Tree
- 3+ years' experience with digital communications and social media/social media marketing
- 1 year of experience with new and emerging t r ends/apps such as TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Experience writing copy for social posts/ability to mimic brand voice
- Familiarity with social monitoring tools
- Familiarity with building out presentations with G oogle S lides/PowerPoint
- Familiarity with G oogle s heets/Excel
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Relationship management skills, including with agencies/vendors and a range of internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to collaborate closely with other social media managers and cross functionally with other departments

- Experience with Sprout Social
- Experience starting/building/growing new social channels in gaming industry
- Extensive knowledge of free to play communities
- Knowledge of mobile game marketing
- Knowledge of influencer marketing
- Experience with creating Instagram stories and reel content
- Experience with social media ad campaigns
Your Mission
- Concept, develop and publish daily content that is on-strategy, on-brand, and on-customer
- Leverage social media listening and analytics tools to monitor brand-relevant conversations, understand brand sentiment, manage and schedule content, and analyze and optimize campaign performance
- Pivot social strategy when necessary to meet analytic goals
- Consistently test and document various aspects of current marketing strategy to increase KPIs
- Develop benchmarks, surface metrics, and deliver reports that present community and moderation performance, insights, trends and optimization recommendations (in conjunction with manager and greater team)
- Monitor the activities of the competition and of top social brands to ensure differentiation and a best-in-class experience
- Make recommendations regarding other social communities, trends and technologies in the marketplace that are relevant to the brand's social presence
- Stay relevant with the ever-changing social media landscape and its current trends
- Willingness to monitor social platforms on weekends when necessary
New Adventures
Throughout your first year, you will develop and execute social media programs that help contribute to growth of the business. You will help build out social marketing strategy of new games and genres through industry knowledge and competitive research. You will create efficiencies by maintaining healthy engagement patterns with our existing communities and helping to improve tracking, measurement and insights gleaned from social content and campaigns will become second nature to you!

We are still hiring, so we've adapted our process to keep people safe. All positions at DoubleDown are subject to interviewing & onboarding virtually/remotely. In June 2022, we transitioned into a hybrid environment based out of our Seattle, WA studio, where teams are expected to collaborate in the office for a minimum of 1 day per week. In person collaboration is an important part of making awesome gaming experiences so when it is safe, we look forward to working together both virtually and in person!
