Golin is looking for our next Social Copywriter who is on their way to becoming the next creative superstar. Are you someone who has a passion for making people say, “wow” through your words? This role is hybrid, with the expectation of 2 days a week in the office working with Golin colleagues, and a 3rd day spent onsite with clients as needed.

As the Social Copywriter, you will:

• Work across all social media platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, X, YouTube and Snapchat. 
• Conceptualize and write social copy for projects ranging from simple tweets and stories to video scripts and live streams.
• Create video concepts and scripts that will be handed over to Creators to bring to life.
• Consistently contribute to brainstorms for engaging ideas
• Be proactive in pitching on-trend social ideas before clients even know it’s a trend.
• Work collaboratively with a content team consisting of strategists, media managers, designers, and creators.
• Show ability to flex from fun consumer brands to more serious, like tech or B2B - and make them all great.
• Have a great eye, cause writers aren’t off the hook for strong visuals. You know when to let the pictures do the talking.

You have:

• 3+ years into your career, and able to bring directly relevant experience to this role.
• Ideally, you’re a Bilingual (English/Spanish) creative with the ability to channel diverse cultures in your writing.
• 110% social - you must speak internet fluently, from TikTok to YouTube, and know how to start a trend, not just jump on one.
• A conceptual writer focused on your craft. You’re a master of headlines, tone of voice, and storytelling. You can make the complicated seem simple. You’ve got a killer sense of humor but can be just as creative when you turn it off.
• Versed in the rules of writing, grammar, and punctuation – and know when to break them.
• Not afraid to pick up a camera or phone and do a little creating yourself.
• Detail-oriented with a conscientious approach to your work and able to balance multiple projects.
• The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and live up to Golin’s values in their day-to-day role.
• You know your way around Microsoft and have a general understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations.

Salary range: $55,000 - $95,000
