The Position
As the Social Media Administrator, you will reside within the Heico Marketing department, reporting to the Vice President of Marketing. The position will centralize and drive governance and best practices for social media use across the enterprise. You will work with social media platforms to reclaim orphaned accounts while working to close unauthorized ones. You will be motivated to work with minimal guidance and detail orientation and accustomed to delivering complex solutions to entities via a cross-functional team approach. You will work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple work streams. This role will be in our Chicago West Suburban office at 27501 Bella Vista Parkway, Warrenville, IL 60190.
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify, inventory, and document social media accounts across the enterprise.
  • Reclaim, reallocate, or close all orphaned or unauthorized social media accounts across platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, WhatsApp, and Google.
  • Track brand reputation and social mentions for all entities while escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Centralize all enterprise social media accounts to the shared management and engagement platform Hootsuite.
  • Govern access and permissions to social media platform accounts based on user capabilities.
  • Manage and train Hootsuite's social media management platform.
  • Assist with social and other earned media content creation as necessary.
  • Review and optimize staged social media content based on account type, capabilities, and access.
  • Develop and syndicate social media best practice guides and related content for use by various stakeholders throughout the enterprise and operating companies.
  • Identify and track KPIs to follow and track trends across social media use, platforms, and best practices.


Job Requirements
Education

  • Bachelor's degree


Skills & Relevant Work Experience

  • 3+ years of experience administering social media accounts using a centralized platform.
  • Experience reclaiming orphaned, unauthorized, and former social media accounts.
  • Experience training, transferring knowledge, and developing best practice guides and related content.
  • Strong ability to manage self, prioritize work, drive for results, and excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Govern social accounts and management platforms.
  • Aptitude to analyze and synthesize data and present it in an impactful manner.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and ability to build and manage a network of key internal and external relationships.
  • Understanding of marketing with expertise relating to earned media.
  • Strong understanding with the ability to train best practices for all popular social media platforms across the enterprise.
  • Ability to share/syndicate, educate others, and govern against best practices relating to earned media.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge and experience administering the Hootsuite platform is required.
