Job Description

Reporting to the Brand and Strategy Director, and working closely with the Brand team you will Plan, schedule and create content across our social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube) while building relationships with key internal teams to source interesting new stories and adapt into social posts that engage our community. 

Responsibilities as a Social Media and Communications Specialist will include:

• Responding and reaching out to our social community to increase content engagement and build our audience. 

• Pulling data and sharing findings on social performance to evaluate the success of our activity, working alongside the Social Media Specialist to form reports with actionable improvements. 

• Draft copy and edit PR announcements that tell the Company story, working alongside the PR Manager. 

• Disseminating approved PR materials, liaising with internal and external channel managers to ensure the message is well received.

• Assisting with reporting on the success of our stories by collating and presenting data from multiple sources (e.g. news outlets).

• Assisting on Brand Marcomms projects that require competitive insight to ensure our outputs are optimised.

Qualifications

• Good experience as a Social Media Marketing Specialist desirable but not essential.
• Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube is essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Experience of content writing.
