IEX is building a bridge between traditional finance and digital assets with a new initiative that intends to give investors a transparent and compliant way to trade digital assets. Social Media and Community Lead
We are looking for a social media expert to build the Dispatch community, from strategy through execution and implementation.
You are a highly-collaborative team player who is excited to join a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment. You are passionate about the evolving web3 environment and how new technologies and means of engagement can provide new opportunities for enterprise brands. You see the opportunity for programs across social media platforms - from Twitter to Telegram to LinkedIn - to contribute to the growth of the Dispatch brand and business, and are ready to dive in.
In this role you will both run Dispatch’s day-to-day social media channels (posting, monitoring, and responding) and conceive and project manage broader campaigns and programs. Social media is a core part of Dispatch’s marketing and communications mix, and so you will be collaborating with Product, Strategy, and Operations as well as with Marketing and Communications.
The Social Media & Community Lead will report to Dispatch’s Director of Business Operations with a dotted line to IEX Group’s Head of Communications.
About You:
- Self-starter – you can prioritize tasks and deliver on-time
- An interest in the evolving web3 and blockchain ecosystem
- Comfortable with social media platforms, especially Twitter, Telegram, and LinkedIn
- Strong writer and editor with experience developing a voice for a brand
- Adaptable and creative; excited to work in a dynamic environment
- Careful attention to detail and collaborative approach
- Able to think, plan, innovate, and execute individually, while staying organized and communicating to stakeholders
What You’ll Do:
- Be the voice of our product and brand
- Manage social media channels on a day-to-day basis
- Develop strategies and plan marketing campaigns with a consistent narrative to build the brand
- Spearhead educational and community initiatives tusing social media platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Telegram etc.
- Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand adoption
- Organize online and offline events or any other activities that drive community engagement
- Collaborate across the Dispatch team and with IEX Group
You Are:Â
- 3+ years in a social media, growth, marketing, or community role;Â experience in crypto/web3 and/or B2B marketing a plus
- Experience managing social media platforms
- Demonstrated success in building and managing community ecosystems
- Proficient in Google Analytics and other similar platforms
- Experience organizing and executing virtual and in-person events a plus

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting annual base pay is between $80,000 and $115,000 for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The annual base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus and equity.
