Position Description
We're looking for an experienced Social Media and Community Marketing Manager, who happens to be obsessed with building awareness and growing community across multiple owned channels. You must love researching, creating, editing, and amplifying stories through a compelling social media and community experience. You'll also be passionate about testing new ideas, leading change management efforts, collaborating cross functionally, and reaching / engaging / learning from our audience. The right person will have an eye for top-quality B2B marketing content and a data-driven mindset to help connect social media and content strategy to business results. You'll play a key role in our marketing program via audience growth and engagement on multiple social platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead our brand awareness / interest-driving content creation efforts (e.g. top of funnel), by collaborating with product, freelance writers, sales, customers, and industry partners and experts to scope and produce compelling content for our blog, website, landing pages, social media channels, webinars, online profiles, etc.
- Bring our social media engagement strategy to the next level, by arming our executives and internal champions with authentic stories and creative social ideas that support our strategic narrative
- Monitor, track, and document social growth and audience engagement performance to determine the next strategy that will drive us higher growth and engagement
- Help us grow our new community of thought leaders and evangelists on our monthly meetup group
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating content that drives growth and engagement
- Portfolio showcasing samples required
- The ability to think creatively and share great ideas of how to make content of all types interesting and impactful
- A high sense of urgency and organization while managing multiple projects
- Experience as a sales professional and / or creating sales content is a plus
- Follow editorial governance to ensure content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone
Requirements
- Proven knowledge and expertise in various social media platforms and multiple content mediums
- Strong interpersonal & influencing skills to drive business priorities within the larger organization as well as to work with cross-functional partners to win as one team
- Creative thinking capabilities that include an interest to learn and adopt new marketing strategies and tactics
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Attention to detail with outstanding project management skills
