About the Job

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social and influencer Specialist who is deeply connected with Gen Z trends, especially on TikTok. You will be responsible for managing all social media channels, developing engaging content, and leading influencer marketing initiatives for our beauty brand. The ideal candidate is a social media expert who understands the nuances of different social channels and has a passion for the beauty industry. You  can connect with audiences through compelling, platform-appropriate content.

Responsibilities

• Manage our social media channels, overseeing daily content creation, posting and engagement across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other platforms. 
• Develop and implement a TikTok strategy, creating viral and shareable content that resonates with Gen Z while staying true to our beauty brand's message.
• Identify, engage, and collaborate with influencers and beauty bloggers to amplify brand presence through creative partnerships, giveaways, and sponsored content.
• Produce high quality engaging content and stories tailored to each social media platform.
• Plan and implement our social media calendar across all social platforms
• Stay on top of the latest social trends, especially in the beauty industry, using these to create engaging posts and content for our audience. 
• Actively respond to comments, messages, and tags, building strong relationships with followers and creating a sense of community around the brand.
• Track our performance across channels measuring the success of campaigns, and provide actionable insights for growing the channels.

About You:

• Proven experience managing social media channels, particularly TikTok and Instagram, preferably for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands.
• Obsessed with the latest social media trends, and in the loop on what is happening across socials, especially TikTok.
• Deep understanding of Gen Z culture, beauty trends, and digital content creation.
• Strong knowledge of social media algorithms, SEO, and analytics tools 
• Experience working with influencers and managing influencer marketing campaigns.
• Passion for beauty, skincare, and the latest trends in the industry.
• Strong communication, organisational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a team, but is also a self-starter and can work autonomously.
