By delivering over 1 million meals per month, we're also empowering working chefs, tripling their income, and supporting their growth. CookUnity believes in fueling stronger communities, partnering with Food Bank For New York City to combat food insecurity across all five boroughs.

About the Team:

At CookUnity, the Brand Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing world-class marketing activations that drive brand awareness and earn loyalty beyond reason. Brand Marketing sets the vision and strategy for the brand and brings it to life with strategic rigor, creative excellence, and cultural relevance. Through insight-inspired, data-informed brand storytelling and experiences, CookUnity’s Brand Marketing team will build a category-defining brand loved by an entire generation of foodies.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious creator to help us supercharge CookUnity’s social media and lead our brand into a new era of more strategic, creative, real-time audience engagement. This role will be tasked with driving organic content creation and needs to be experienced executing from strategy through shooting, editing, posting, and engaging.

You are social obsessed, fluent in the language of the internet, and have your finger squarely on the pulse of culture. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial, proactive, and LOVES to create. You are equally comfortable developing a strategic plan and reporting performance analytics as you are generating ideas, executing creative, and acting as the voice of the CookUnity brand in social channels. In this exciting role, you will play a central role in all brand initiatives and help make CookUnity a content powerhouse and category defining brand.

You will report to the Brand Marketing Director and work closely with partners throughout the company.

Responsibilities
  • Set the vision and strategy for CookUnity across key social channels including a strategic POV for translating our brand essence into social.
  • Develop innovative, attention grabbing concepts that will drive awareness and engage our audience at the speed of culture.
  • Ideate, plan, and execute organic content and assets tailor made for social media and leveraging the latest formats and trends to maximize reach and relevance.
  • Post the content you create using best practices and optimization tactics to maximize performance, follower acquisition, and overall audience engagement.
  • Comment, reply, and manage DMs across all active social media channels and emerging channels as they are integrated into our strategy.
  • Report performance analytics and surface meaningful insights to demonstrate impact, inform future content, and inspire future marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with high profile chefs both in studio and out in the world to create immersive food content and tell captivating human stories.
  • Partner with Creative Studio and key stakeholders to capture organic content at all major photoshoots.
  • Collaborate closely with the paid social team to create a cohesive brand presence and highly effective acquisition engine.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proficient in the nuances of social content creation and know the specs, native features, best practices, hacks, and tricks to producing high quality, high performing content
  • Data driven and always leveraging insights to inform creative decisions
  • Proficient in all major creative software for photo and video editing
  • A highly detail oriented multi-tasker with a strong eye for creative
  • An excellent written communicator with the ability to speak the language of the internet fluently as one of the most public facing voices of the brand
  • Excited to be on-the-go and willing to travel (locally and otherwise) to capture timely, relevant content live and IRL
  • Open to and comfortable possibly being on camera and/or lending your voice to CookUnity’s social content
  • Aware of the always-on environment of social media and ready to engage in realtime as relevant conversations, moments, and/or cultural opportunities arise

CompensationAll final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Pay Range for this position
$113,000$130,000 USD
