Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist
SpecterOps is seeking a skilled Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing our social media and content marketing strategy, managing our content calendar, and creating engaging content for our various newsletters. As the ideal candidate, you have experience in website management and a passion for creating buzz and driving top-of-funnel growth through digital content marketing.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 base salary annually, commensurate with experience
Location: This position is remote, based in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Execute SpecterOps' social media and content marketing strategy across various channels, including Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Manage organic social media content development and maintain a content calendar that aligns with our brand's tone and voice.
- Develop and curate compelling and relevant content that aligns with the organization's overall objectives and engages its target audience.
- Manage website content updates and ensure the website is current with the latest information and messaging.
- Analyze and report on the performance of content using various tools and platforms and adjust strategies and tactics as necessary to optimize results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with the overall marketing strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure SpecterOps' social media and content marketing presence is innovative and effective.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and collaborate with all cross-functional partners to drive key social media and content KPIs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, content marketing, and website management.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Experience managing content calendars and analyzing social media and website performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidate must be authorized to work and reside in the United States; we do not currently sponsor immigration visas
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with social media and content marketing trends in this market is a plus.
